Our Story
BrightSmile was founded in 2008 by Dr. Eirini Antonopoulou, a prosthodontist who had spent eight years between King's College London and a private aesthetic clinic in Geneva, and her husband Dr. Marios Konstantinidis, an oral surgeon trained at the University of Athens with a postgraduate fellowship in implantology in Gothenburg. They had two specific frustrations they wanted to fix. The first: every clinic they had worked at outsourced something — the orthodontist visited on Tuesdays, the hygienist worked under a different brand on Fridays, the lab was in Bulgaria — so a patient with a complex case got passed between four people who never sat in the same room.
